Licensing and pricing

How is ChartGPT sold?

ChartGPT is sold as a one-time lifetime license. You pay once and keep the software. No subscription required.

What does lifetime mean?

Lifetime means lifetime activation and lifetime software updates for the purchased license. Support is included for 12 months from purchase. After that period, the software and updates remain yours. Extended support may be offered separately.

Will my license renew automatically?

No. The lifetime license is a one-time purchase. There is no automatic renewal or monthly charge.

Can I upgrade my license?

There is one public ChartGPT license tier. If additional tiers become available, they will be listed on the product page and in the customer portal.

Do you offer trials?

Yes. You can request a free 10-day ChartGPT trial from the download page. Use a real email address because the activation key is sent to your inbox and disposable domains are rejected.

What is your refund policy?

Refund terms are shown at checkout. Contact support within the refund period if you have an issue with your purchase.

Bring your own API key

Do I need to buy AI credits from Trading Neural?

No. You bring your own API key from your chosen provider — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any OpenRouter-compatible model. Your AI usage is billed directly by that provider. Trading Neural does not resell AI credits.

Which AI providers does ChartGPT support?

ChartGPT supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and OpenRouter-compatible providers. You choose the provider and model you prefer.

Can I monitor my AI usage?

Your usage is tracked by your provider account dashboard. ChartGPT does not meter or cap your model calls.

What happens if my API key expires or is revoked?

ChartGPT will be unable to contact the AI provider until you update your key inside the application. Your license remains valid regardless.

Account and payment

How do I purchase ChartGPT?

Purchase is completed through the checkout link on the ChartGPT product page. Payment is processed by Stripe.

Can I get a receipt for my payment?

Yes. Stripe issues a receipt to the email used at checkout. You can also access your purchase history through the customer portal.

What happens if my payment fails?

Stripe will report the failure at checkout. No license is issued until payment is confirmed. You can retry with the same or a different payment method.

How do I reset my password?

Use the forgot-password link on the login page of the customer portal.

Is my personal information secure?

Account and payment data is handled through Stripe and the Trading Neural portal. We do not store card data on our infrastructure.

Features and functionality

What does ChartGPT send to the AI model?

ChartGPT can send chart data (OHLCV, VWAP, volume profile, indicators), screenshots, drawing-tool context, session notes, prompts, and economic calendar information into your AI provider.

Can I use ChartGPT on multiple machines?

Each license covers one user. You may install it on your own machines, but the license cannot be shared between multiple traders. Contact support if you need to migrate to a new machine.

Can I share my license with others?

No. Each license is for one user only. Sharing, resale, sublicensing, and multi-trader use are not permitted. Trading rooms, prop firms, education groups, and commercial desks require a separate commercial license.

Is ChartGPT compatible only with NinjaTrader?

Yes. The current product is built for NinjaTrader 8.

Do I need tick data or Level 2 data?

ChartGPT works with the chart data available in your NinjaTrader setup. More market data can give the AI more context, but the product is built around the chart workflow first.

Can I use ChartGPT with the NinjaTrader Free Edition?

Yes. ChartGPT works with the NinjaTrader Free Edition.

Models and AI

Which AI models can I use?

You can use any model accessible through your API key. Common choices include OpenAI GPT models, Anthropic Claude models, Google Gemini models, and any OpenRouter-supported model.

Will more models be supported in the future?

Because ChartGPT uses your own API key, model availability depends on what your provider supports. New provider integrations may be added in future updates.

How can I improve the quality of AI responses?

Use specific, structured prompts, include the relevant chart data sources, and give the model enough context about your trading timeframe and setup.

Should I act on AI analysis without question?

No. AI output is a research and analysis tool, not financial advice. You remain responsible for your own trading decisions and risk management.

Support and troubleshooting

How does support work?

Support covers installation, activation, setup guidance, and reproducible software defects. Use the contact page or the portal to reach the support team. Support does not include trading advice, AI provider billing issues, or NinjaTrader platform support.

Where can I find setup documentation?

Full setup and reference documentation is available at the Trading Neural docs site, linked from the header and footer.

What should I do if I encounter an error?

Contact support with your product version, operating system, a clear description of the issue, and any relevant error messages or screenshots.

How do I access the latest version?

Updates are distributed through the customer portal. Log in to check for the latest version and release notes.

Data and privacy

What data does Trading Neural store?

Trading Neural may store account, licensing, and payment information required to operate the product. The AI analysis workflow runs on your machine using your own provider API key. Trading Neural does not receive your chart data or AI responses.

Do you provide a Service Level Agreement?

No formal SLA is offered for the individual lifetime license. Support response times are on a best-effort basis.
